Muscel estimates your baseline 1RM from your profile and training history, then builds Conservative, Realistic, and Reach paths around it. A curve is fit to the lifts you've logged and projected forward so you can see where you're headed. See the How it works page for more detail.
Yes. Muscel supports custom exercises in addition to the 49 preset lifts across 6 muscle groups. Custom exercises require at least 2 logged sessions before a projection is generated.
Your tier — Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, or Elite — reflects how your estimated 1RM compares to real-world strength standards for that exercise. It updates automatically as your numbers improve.
